• Assist the commercial team with both commercial and contractual aspects of a project as required.

• Perform commercial functions as directed by the Commercial Manager or MQS/ Senior QS/QS.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance.
• Understand working within defined budgets.
• Have awareness of cost or benefit applicable to tasks performed.
• Assist the work-winning team where necessary.

• In conjunction with line manager prepare accurate and prudent cost/value analysis.
• Assist line manager with accurate budget preparation.
• Conduct site measurement.
• Be an integral part of the site team to understand more clearly ways to reduce and manage costs.
• Maintain good quality and accurate records securely in line with company procedures.
• Maintain cost information.

• Assist with developing robust and consistent change control process to ensure that appropriate contract price adjustments are identified.
• In conjunction with line manager prepare accurate pricing and rating of variations.
• Prepare interim and final account agreement of subcontracts.
• Prepare interim and final account measurement.
• Prepare and agree any sundry accounts.

• Previous experience working with NEC 3 or 4.

• Previous experience working in the water sector.
