We are looking to recruit dynamic and enthusiastic Audiologists to join the NHS Bank Staff Team for Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Audiologists. Consideration will be given to applicants who are soon to complete their BSc in Audiology. The department is pro‑active in providing CPD training, further academic study and preceptorship support.
Services may include direct referral, adult rehabilitation, ENT clinics and paediatric assessments. Candidates may be required to work unsupervised to support ENT clinics on weekends and may attend clinics at all Health Board sites.
Candidates should be registered or eligible for registration with the Royal College of Communication Professionals (RCCP) or the Academy of Healthcare Science.
Welsh Skills DesirableLevel 3 speaking & listening (equivalent to CEFR B2). Basic conversations with patients about everyday health are acceptable.
Main Duties- Provide diagnostic and rehabilitative input to patients regarding their hearing difficulties.
- Conduct assessments and manage treatment plans for adults and children.
- Work independently in ENT clinics, including weekends.
- Attend clinics at all CTM Health Board sites.
- Registration or eligibility with RCCP or Academy of Healthcare Science.
- Current or forthcoming BSc in Audiology.
- Willingness to undertake CPD, further academic study, and preceptorship.
- English and/or Welsh speaker;
Welsh speaking at level 3 desirable.
