About the Role We're looking for a motivated, detail driven individual who wants to kick start or grow their finance career. This newly created role sits at the heart of our Finance team, giving you hands on experience with key day to day functions including purchase ledger management, banking processes and financial administration.

Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Setting up bank payments
- Posting supplier payments
- Managing supplier queries and issuing remittances
- Overseeing invoice approval workflows
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations
- Setting up and maintaining supplier records
- Supporting audit preparation
- Providing phoneline cover for the Finance team
- General administrative duties and ad hoc finance projects
- Ideally 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths & English (grade 5+)
- Ability to work in the office 5 days a week during the temp period and probation, with potential hybrid working later - 3 days office 2 days home
- Basic Excel / MS Office skills and a willingness to develop further

- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast moving environment
