Salary Dependent on Experience

Our well-established client services the Aerospace, Defence and Marine Sectors. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Production Engineer to join their growing team!

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Generate workshop job packs to AS9100 standard for release on to the shop floor

* Decide and plan optimum manufacturing methods and processes

* Working to customer specifications and quality standards

* Support production with technical issues

* Identifying and organising tooling requirements for new parts

* Working closely with both customers and suppliers

Ideal Candidate:

* Aerospace or other (high precision) manufacturing background

* Experience and understanding of machining and manufacturing processes

* A good understanding of materials and surface treatment processes

* Commercial awareness

* Experience with ERP systems and Excel

* Experience with CAD systems (Catia) beneficial
