Product Labelling & Compliance Technologist - Packaging

• Up to £35,000 pa
  , dependent on experience
• Ringwood & Poole Sites - Must be within commutable distance

The Role

We are looking for a Technologist to oversee food packaging specification, nutritional labelling and compliance documentation
. Working with suppliers, customers, internal teams and international partners, you will ensure all food products meet legal requirements and are labelled accurately for global sale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage food product specifications and compliance documents
• Produce nutritional calculations and develop accurate product labels and ingredient declarations
• Ensure food packaging meet all required legal and customer food safety standards (UK and international)
• Coordinate product testing and supplier certification approval
• Maintain internal product data systems and ensure traceability compliance
• Support investigation and management of product quality complaints
• Keep informed of global food safety legislation and provide guidance internally

Key

Skills:

• Previous experience in a food technical/compliance/QA role within FMCG or packaging manufacturing
• Strong understanding of nutritional labelling requirements
• Knowledge of HACCP and experience working within a BRC business
• High levels of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
• Excellent written communication and documentation abilities
• Process-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and with a team
• Able to interpret regulations, standards and technical documentation
