A very exciting opportunity awaits you within our Reality Capture (RC) division at Hexagon Geosystems . We develop and produce innovative technologies that revolutionize data acquisition, processing, and services. Our mobile mapping team is looking for a highly motivated, passionate and energetic individual to join our product development team in Pordenone (Italy). We are developing the next generation of high-performance Reality Capture applications for a vibrant and wide customer base.
You will be part of an agile team of 50+ talented and progressive individuals that innovate our industry.
About the role:
Within our Pordenone based R&D team we are looking a Agile Software Project Manager who is responsible for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle within the defined guidelines and according to the business needs.
You will handle the following key areas of excitement:
Motivate and establish an inspiring and supportive team culture
Interface with Software & Hardware Development teams globally
Create, implement, and monitor project planning
Support compliance on requirement’s definition
Manage project risk
Track project progress and change control
Ensure projects meet deadlines and stays within approved bandwidth
Manage relationships with product owner and stakeholders
Oversee incoming and outgoing project activities interdepartmentally to complete project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
What we would like to see:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field
2+ years of relevant experience in Project Management – ideally with Software and/or Hardware
Agile development methodologies like Scrum or XP
Results-driven and strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse people
Commitment to continuous learning and education Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
In addition, the following skills are an advantage:
PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable
Working with distributed teams
