• Dive into specifications for large hard bid/lump sum and construction management projects, ensuring every detail is covered.
• Lead winning strategies to secure new work and drive success.
• Evaluate trade contractor pricing and select the best options for competitive bids.
• Attend pre‑tender meetings to ensure accuracy and confidence in bid preparation.
• Provide guidance on construction procedures and methods for accurate estimates.
• Take ownership of medium‑to‑large estimates or key components of major projects.
• Develop critical path schedules to keep projects on track and meet milestones.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and trade contractors for pricing advantages.
• Maintain and update trade contractor databases for efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify risks and opportunities in project documents and market conditions.

• 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Industrial site experience working with Pipe fitters is essential.
• Post‑secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline or Trade Certificate preferred.
• Strong understanding of Union Agreements across various trades.
• Advanced blueprint reading skills and solid knowledge of contract documents.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Robust negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• Highly organized, team‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
