Plan creative celebrations at Michaels using event coordination, craft instruction, face painting, and customer service skills in a retail store setting.
As a Party and Event Host, you will coordinate children’s birthday parties, craft classes, and other events. You will engage guests from ages four to 94+, demonstrate craft projects, and support customer shopping needs. Retail or customer service experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan multiple birthday parties, craft classes, and events
- Demonstrate crafts and perform face painting activities
- Facilitate goody bags, balloons, and event add-ons
- Communicate event details with clients and store teams
- Set up, clean, and break down events
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail or customer service experience required
- Excellent people, communication, and listening skills
- Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, carry, and reach
