Quality Engineer required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha , Eastern Cape

Requirements:

Diploma/ B Tech in Engineering
Diploma / Certificate in Quality (TQM / City & Guilds)
Three to Five year’s relevant experience
Working knowledge of the Injection Moulding process
Automotive Core Tools Training
VDA 6.3 Auditor Qualification

Responsibilities:

Be responsible for all products (OEM and Tier 1 suppliers), including customer requirements and specifications, APQP process and customer complaints
Prepare reports on quality related matters
Co-Ordination of Root Cause Analysis using Automotive Core Tools
Responsible for Raw Material Inspection and Release System
Monitor quality performance of suppliers and rate suppliers monthly
Effectively participate in all 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits
Liaise with local and overseas suppliers and OEMs on quality matters, root cause investigations and corrective/preventative action plans and update of the relevant documentation
