Maintenance Shift Artisan

A well-established manufacturing environment is seeking an energetic, skilled, and motivated Maintenance Shift Artisan
. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical expertise
, with a focus on maintaining optimal plant performance.

• Execute and oversee maintenance activities within the manufacturing plant.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Complete 5-Why analyses for all breakdowns.
• Collaborate with Shift Coordinators on breakdown support and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Accurately capture maintenance information on MP2 and OEE Haldan systems.
• Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned by the Superintendent.

• Relevant technical skills and a tertiary qualification.
• Red Seal Electrician (essential) with at least 2 years’ post–trade test experience.
• Red Seal Industrial Electrician (advantageous).
• Knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems.

• Minimum 5 years’ post–trade test maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (essential).
• At least 3 years specifically within a manufacturing setting.
• Advantageous experience with:
  • Fanuc and Siemens equipment
  • Siepe conveyor systems
  • PLC-controlled systems
  • CNC machinery
  • VDH machines
  • Strapping & wrapping equipment
  • Low-pressure casting machines
  • X-ray machines
  • GnK punches
  • Eisenmann heat treatment machines
  • Wet paint and powder coating plants

• Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, Email, MP2, Haldan).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and function effectively within a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Proactive, innovative, honest, and reliable.
• Adaptable, assertive, and able to maintain positive energy in a fast-paced environment.
