We are seeking a hands‑on, disciplined Stores Manager to take full ownership of our stores and warehouse operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate stock control, efficient material flow, and uninterrupted production and site deliveries.

The successful candidate will be accountable for receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling materials, while driving continuous improvement in stores systems, discipline, and reporting.

• Full responsibility for stores operations and stock control
• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders
• Ensure correct labelling, storage.
• Issue materials to production and site strictly against authorised requisitions
• Maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies
• Implement and manage minimum and maximum stock levels
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with full stock takes
• Control offcuts, damaged materials, returns, and scrap
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stores environment
• Coordinate with production planning to pre‑kit materials for jobs
• Report shortages, damages, and risks proactively to management
• Enforce stores procedures and discipline across departments

• Proven experience as a Stores Manager / Storeman / Warehouse Supervisor
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, or aluminium systems (advantageous)
• Strong stock control and administrative skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Basic computer literacy (Excel / stock systems)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
