Job Title

Night Senior Care Assistant – Care Concern Group, Marchmont Care Home (Port Glasgow)

Full Time, 33 hours per week, salary £13.60 per hour.

Marchmont Care Home provides residential and nursing care for up to 51 residents in a peaceful, leafy residential area of Port Glasgow.

Lead the care team to ensure seamless shift operations while maintaining a caring and uplifting environment. Support residents with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility, prioritising dignity and independence. Manage medication administration and documentation, maintaining detailed care plans and risk assessments. Engage with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, building meaningful relationships. Welcome visitors, showcase home facilities, respond promptly to emergencies, and arrange assistance.

Participate in staff meetings and training, adhering to health and safety policies, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team spirit.

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week

• Minimum SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (essential), Level 3 preferred or actively working towards it
