Opportunity Summary

A leading medical device company is seeking a Quality Engineer for a 12-month contract in Portage, MI. You will own product and supplier quality issues through CAPA and nonconformance closure and support audits and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage internal and supplier nonconformances through investigation and closure, including MRB disposition
• Support or own CAPAs from root cause analysis to closure
• Communicate with suppliers and accelerate supplier corrective action requests (SCARs)
• Maintain and analyze quality KPIs and apply statistical methods to identify trends
• Provide quality support for audits, validations and manufacturing transfers

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree
• 0-2 years in a quality or regulatory affairs role
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, GDP and GMP; understanding of CAPA, risk management, audits and statistics

Preferred

• Knowledge of risk-based thinking and statistical concepts
• Prior industry experience
