Rehabilitation Support Worker (Porthcawl)

Hours per week: 24.5 or 12.25 hours (to be discussed)

Working pattern: 12‑hour shifts (days, nights and weekends)

Pay per hour:
Day £14.50;
Waking night £15.50;
Sleep shift £13.21;
Bank holiday £29;
Additional weekend pay £1.00 per hour

Closing date: 6th February 2025

• Assist with daily living activities such as cooking and housekeeping.
• Support participation in community activities, sports and rehabilitation programmes.
• Help maintain and monitor therapy tasks as directed by the clinical team.
• Provide assistance with mobility, including wheelchair use.
• Offer companionship and encouragement to improve overall quality of life.
• Cover shifts on short notice and support breaks or holiday periods.
• Record observations and communicate updates to the Case Manager.

• Experience supporting individuals with brain injury or similar conditions.
• Good teamwork skills and a patient, reliable attitude.
• Ability to drive and access a car for service delivery.
• Current enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Ready to receive full induction and training.

• Pay above industry average.
