Finance Manager

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering exclusively with an established SME based in Verwood, Dorset, who have experienced steady growth over recent years. They’re now looking to hire a Finance Manager on a permanent basis, which will be a hands-on role, partnering with the MD and ensuring the smooth running of the finance function. This is a stand out role for an experienced Finance Manager or Management Accountant looking for a step up into a role where that will have excellent visibility of wider business operations and real opportunity to add value.

What will the Finance Manager role involve?

• Monthly P&L preparation with commentary and analysis;
• Analysis of stock, achieved margins and cashflow forecasting;
• Mentorship and management of one transactional staff member;
• Daily management of the finance function, ensuring efficient and accurate entries and timely reporting;
• Budgeting & forecasting with regular monitoring;
• Support the MD with decision making by providing insightful financial information.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy:

• An ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification is beneficial but not essential;
• Previous experience in a similar role within an SME business is required;
• Flexible approach to work and an interest in adding value to the wider business.
