IT Hardware Engineer

Amour Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting for multiple IT Hardware Engineers, on behalf of our wonderful client based in Portsmouth.

In this varied role, you'll support the building and installation of custom made and bespoke IT packages, across a wide range of industries.

Ideally, candidates will have an understanding of Computing, Networking and Data Storage, as well as imaging and cable management.

This role will require travel nationwide, with the need to stay overnight regularly. So, you will need to be open and flexible.

What you will be doing:

• Building It workstations to specification.
• Reimaging of IT hardware.
• Installation of IT infrastructure, including network, printing, security and data storage equipment.
• Ensuring best-practice and compliance through all works.

What we are looking for:

• Experience with IT building, diagnosis, installation and decommissioning.
• A can-do, team focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn new techniques, and an open mind to project approach.
• UK Driving License and the ability to stay overnight, where required.
• 5 years UK residency required, due to security requirements.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:00 (Plus overtime)

Salary: £30,000 (With a great benefits package and overtime paid at time and half!)
