. This role involves carrying out varied cleansing duties across multiple locations in Portsmouth.

• Sweep roads according to daily route maps in a safe and responsible manner
• Ensure waste bags are placed in sensible locations for drivers to collect
• Report any bulk waste to the charge hand or supervisor on observation
• Work varied shift hours depending on precise job requirements
• Keep all tools in a safe and tidy manner (e.g., barrows, brooms)
• Follow basic instructions as given by charge hand and supervisor

The ideal candidate will have the drive and passion for the work required. You should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Experience in a similar manual labour environment is ideal but not essential.

• Salary of £12.21 per hour – time and a half on Saturdays
• Tuesday – Saturday schedule; monthly paid
