CNC Setter Operator

Our clients based close to Portsmouth have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Setter / Operator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in setting, and operating CNC sliding head lathes. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, high standards of workmanship, and a proactive attitude toward sharing knowledge and supporting the team.

Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC sliding head machines Carry out part inspection using standard measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.) Ensure components are produced to tight tolerances and quality standards Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting Collaborate with the team Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Skills & Experience:

Experience with CNC sliding head lathes or similar Setting and Operating Experience using Fanuc controls Able to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation Skilled in using precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and quality-driven Benefits:

Monday - Thursday - 8:00am - 4:30pm Friday - 8:00am
