Full Time Position for a driven and pro‑active person with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills. This role will drive the quality management system within Sub Sea craft while supporting the Production and Procurement Teams and will have exposure to all areas of the business.
Base pay range- Full Time
- Permanent
- Salary: £65,000‑£75,000 DOE

- Reporting into Operations and supporting all business departments.
- Overseeing and evolving the Integrated Business Management System and Quality Management Systems.
- Helping departments align process to recognised standards and drive continual improvement to process throughout the business.
- Managing a team of quality engineers focusing in on production and supplier quality.
- Scheduling and running internal and external audits, to maintain our ISO
9001:2015 accreditation. - Embedding AQAP defence standards, including NATO quality assurance regulations and quality plans.
- Introducing AS9100 standards into the business where appropriate.
- Driving the introduction of configuration management into business process to ISO standards.
- Developing, implementing and monitoring quality control processes and procedures for manufacturing operations.
- Analyzing production non‑conformance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Training and supporting staff on quality control procedures.
- Having an in‑depth understanding of design and manufacturing documentation to monitor and ensure that production processes are implemented correctly.
- Establishing and maintaining quality standards for supplier materials and components through a supplier quality manual.
- Conducting supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Developing and maintaining supplier performance metrics and reporting systems.
- Collaborating with customer service and sales teams to address quality‑related customer concerns.
- Building and monitoring quality issues logging process (Incident and observation reporting system).
- Reporting quality metrics and progress to senior leadership team monthly.
- Working with design engineering to establish suitable standards of quality for products in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication skills to pass information clearly and accurately.
- Meeting set deadlines and understanding when problems need to be referred upwards.
- Organising and presenting information clearly, concisely and accurately.
- Demonstrating strong leadership, motivational and mediation skills, and the ability to take initiative without guidance.
