CMM Programmer​/Quality Inspector

Position: CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector (Permanent)
Mazco Recruitment is partnering with a leading precision engineering manufacturer in Portsmouth to recruit an experienced CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-specification engineering environment working across complex components for demanding industries.

The Role

You will play a key part in ensuring high-quality, right-first-time production through both CMM programming/operation and hands-on manual inspection.

Responsibilities include:

* Programming and operating CMM equipment, including LK Altera C Coordinate Measurement Machines

* Using Aberlink, Faro Arm and other metrology software/systems

* Carrying out first-off inspection, in-process checks, and final inspection

* Performing manual inspection using micrometers, verniers, height gauges, shadow graphs, etc.

* Supporting a busy quality department in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment

* Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and GD&T

About You

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running with:

* Proven experience as a CMM Programmer, Metrology Engineer, or Quality Inspector

* Strong ability to programme and operate CMMs (Aberlink, LK, Faro Arm or similar)

* Solid understanding of quality standards and inspection methods

* Confidence working independently and within a team
