We’re looking for a Director of Sales with extended stay experience to spearhead our property’s sales and marketing initiatives. This key leadership position is responsible for implementing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, and the local community.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in hotel sales and a genuine commitment to service excellence. You will lead sales efforts across multiple segments, manage RFP processes, analyze performance trends, and collaborate with the operations and revenue teams to optimize occupancy and profitability. This position blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution, providing a unique opportunity to influence both the hotel’s financial success and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities- Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include in‑person cold calling, phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network.
- Establish strategies to meet and exceed monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives.
- Deliver previous and upcoming week’s sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales‑related expenses.
- Analyze market trends and top account production to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the property with professionalism at client presentations, industry trade shows, and community events to strengthen brand presence and foster new relationships.
- Partner with Revenue Management to develop and adjust group and LNR rate strategies that optimize Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) and overall profitability.
- Lead all hotel sales and marketing activities to meet or exceed revenue, productivity, and booking goals.
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel locally as business needs require.
- Energetic, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and fostering positive client partnerships.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals in a hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems (e.g., sales automation, CRM).
- Minimum of 3 years of on‑property hotel sales experience, with prior Director‑level or senior sales manager experience strongly preferred.
