Direct Accident was formed in 1996 to assist clients who had been involved in road traffic accidents caused by another party. In that time, we have helped thousands of clients by taking away the worry and inconvenience that inevitably result from an accident caused by somebody else.

We are looking for a Driver Controller Support to join our team. This role is key to ensuring operational efficiency, high‑quality administration, and excellent customer service. You will support the Driver Controllers in managing day‑to‑day processes, monitoring driver performance, and maintaining smooth communication across departments.

• Process drivers’ timesheets, holiday requests, and availability schedules.
• Handle requests from the Legal department (driver visits, court bundle deliveries).
• Monitor daily claims, driving hours, and driver utilisation.
• Manage petty cash, parking, congestion charges, Dartford Crossing payments, and PCNs.
• Order and manage drivers’ uniforms.
• Oversee driver sign‑in/sign‑out processes and prepare future workbooks.
• Support driver discipline and training, reporting trends in errors and behaviour.
• Provide cover for Driver Controllers when required and assist with ad hoc tasks.

• Over 25 years old (for insurance purposes).
• Must hold a clean, valid driving licence.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent administration and record‑keeping abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Previous experience in transport, logistics, or driver management is desirable.
• Confident in supervising and supporting drivers to achieve operational standards.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, professional attitude with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
