We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic Sales Assistants to join our busy jewellery shop in Poynton. If you have great people skills and a passion for beautiful jewellery, we’d love to hear from you.

• Welcoming and assisting customers on the shop floor
• Providing knowledgeable, attentive service
• Handling sales transactions and customer enquiries
• Maintaining shop displays and ensuring a tidy environment
• Supporting day-to-day shop operations

• Confident, warm communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Retail or jewellery experience is an advantage, but not essential
• Reliable, organised, and customer-focused
• Ability to work well as part of a small team

Founded 40 years ago, Christopher Evans Goldsmiths began in Poynton as a small trade workshop, with Chris himself working at the bench. As demand for repairs and remodelling grew, Chris moved into a larger retail space in the heart of Poynton village, complete with a workshop above the shop.

When the opportunity arose to acquire an established jewellers in Stockton Heath, Chris seized it, rebranding both stores, expanding the workshop facilities, and broadening the retail offering. Today, both stores are thriving, yet we’ve never lost sight of our roots as a hands-on, customer-focused independent business.
