Taylor Hopkinson is supporting a leading global energy technology company in the search for an  HVDC Site Operations Supervisor  to join their international project organisation.

As the HVDC Site Operations Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day execution at site, ensuring smooth progress from early works through commissioning. You will be responsible for maintaining project discipline, safeguarding schedule and cost performance, and guaranteeing compliance with technical, contractual, and HSE requirements.

Responsibilities :
Coordinate workforce needs and supervise all site operations to secure timely achievement of project deliverables and milestones.
Serve as the primary on-site counterpart for the client, local entities, and project stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment.
Monitor the quality of all works executed, ensuring the proper creation, verification, and archiving of quality documentation.
Verify that all required authorisations, permits, and regulatory prerequisites are secured prior to execution of site tasks.
Maintain a robust and up-to-date documentation flow between the site and headquarters, guaranteeing accuracy and traceability.
Act as Site Operations Supervisor or delegate for medium-to-large EPC converter-station projects, major consortium projects, equipment-supply contracts, and other complex engagements.

Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in  Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering .
At least  5 years of experience  in site leadership roles within industrial or energy-related construction environments, preferably on medium- or large-scale projects.
Fluent in Italian and English, spoken and written .
Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams, maintain structure under pressure, and interface confidently with customers.
Solid understanding of  HSE regulations and certifications , including the qualifications required for the “Capo Cantiere” role in Italy.
Availability for national and international travel as required.
