We are recruiting an experienced and motivated GDC-registered Dental Therapist to work under Direct Access within one of our Preston-based practices. You will have the choice of joining either:

• Fulwood: A modern, high-specification 10-surgery practice offering advanced technology, specialist services, and a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Longridge: A smaller, friendly local practice with strong continuity of care and a community-focused feel.

Both locations offer excellent patient demand and strong clinical support.

Full-time and part-time applicants are welcome.

You can expect:

• Autonomy to deliver Direct Access services confidently and independently.
• A collaborative clinical team including dentists, dental nurses, and specialists.

• Deliver routine dental therapy treatments for NHS and private patients within the GDC scope of practice.
• Provide clear explanations of treatment options to ensure informed decision-making.
• Refer patients to appropriate in-house clinicians or specialists where required.
• Promote and deliver private treatment options, including airflow polishing, restorative fillings, hygiene therapy, and preventive treatments.
• Maintain high professional and clinical standards, including record keeping and patient communication.

• A supportive working environment with structured induction and ongoing development.
• Established patient demand and well-managed diaries.
• Opportunities to train or progress in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, aligners, restorative dentistry, and advanced hygiene services.
• Dedicated administrative support, including compliance, diary management, and marketing.
• If you currently work in the UK under a sponsorship arrangement, we may be able to support a transfer, subject to meeting applicable requirements and guidelines.

• GDC registered as a Dental Therapist.
• Confident in delivering Direct Access care and working independently when required.
• Patient-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated to continue developing professionally, especially in cosmetic or restorative treatments.
• Reliable, professional, and aligned with high standards of clinical care.
