Electrical Design Engineer

Our client BAE Systems, a leading entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis, based in Samlesbury. This role is pivotal to the Air Business Unit and requires attendance on site three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Working on the F35 project
Collaborating within a team that includes both permanent and contract staff
Managing electrical installation tasks, excluding circuits
Focusing on harnesses and 3D harness work
Utilising CATIA V5 and Team centre software
Contribution to the checking process in due course
Supporting ongoing projects with significant workloads

Job Requirements:

BAE-Electrical designer skills

Experience with in the aerospace
Proficiency in CATIA V5
Strong understanding of electrical installations and 3D harness work
Flexibility to work on site in Samlesbury for three days a week
