We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMP Kirkham, Freckleton Road, Kirkham, Preston, Lancashire, PR4 2RN
. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week
. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00;
Friday to Sunday 08:00 - 16:00. There will be a need to work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis (with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).

What You Will Do- Routine and non‑routine maintenance.
- Mains water supply repairs.
- Fault finding, identification of life‑expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
- Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
- Full driving licence.
- Experience in a commercial environment.
- Experience in operating light plant.
- NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating is preferred (NVQ level 2 may be considered).
- Legionella Control (L8) is desirable.
