Salary £46,142 – £51,356 | Safeguarding Service | Lancashire County Council

AboutThe Role
As the Team Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance, and enhancing service effectiveness. You will lead a team of Social Care Support Officers and work closely with service managers, Business Intelligence, and multi‑agency partners to deliver high standards and excellent outcomes for vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation of quality and improvement initiatives across the Safeguarding Adults Service.
- Oversee performance dashboards and service intelligence to support strategic decision‑making.
- Develop and maintain robust quality assurance processes.
- Provide expert analysis of performance data and support teams in addressing service issues.
- Represent the service in meetings and contribute to strategic planning and governance.
- Lead targeted support initiatives to reduce risk and improve safeguarding outcomes.
- Significant experience in quality improvement, performance management, and data analysis.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
You must be registered with the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC). You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
