Team Manager | QC&SA MASH & Safeguarding – Permanent, Full Time 37 Hours per Week – Preston

Salary £46,142 – £51,356 | Safeguarding Service | Lancashire County Council

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead quality assurance and performance improvement within our Safeguarding Adults Service. As the Team Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance, and enhancing service effectiveness. You will lead a team of Social Care Support Officers and work closely with service managers, Business Intelligence, and multi‑agency partners to deliver high standards and excellent outcomes for vulnerable adults.

• Lead the implementation of quality and improvement initiatives across the Safeguarding Adults Service.
• Oversee performance dashboards and service intelligence to support strategic decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain robust quality assurance processes.
• Provide expert analysis of performance data and support teams in addressing service issues.
• Represent the service in meetings and contribute to strategic planning and governance.
• Lead targeted support initiatives to reduce risk and improve safeguarding outcomes.

• Significant experience in quality improvement, performance management, and data analysis.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• A commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.

You must be registered with the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC). You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
