£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Our client is a specialist precision manufacturing business and are in need of multiple CNC Setter Operators to join the team. You will be supporting the business and machining parts for multiple sectors including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Automotive, and other precision engineering sectors. To apply for this role you will need to have previous/current experience in CNC Milling.

• Previous experience as a CNC Setter Operator in milling
• Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens or Mazatrol control experience
• Ability to multitask setting up other machines when main station is running
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Proficient in materials handling and working with hand tools
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations

• Work on 3, 4, and 5‑axis machining centres, producing complex, high‑precision components
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, ensuring dimensional accuracy and compliance with customer requirements
• Machine a wide variety of materials, including exotic alloys and hard metals, to tight tolerances
• Conduct quality checks using appropriate metrology and inspection equipment
• Maintain production efficiency and quality through adherence to 6S and Lean manufacturing practices
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve technical or process‑related issues
• Work independently to manage workloads while contributing effectively as part of a team
