GP Surgery, Preston

Part-Time or Full-Time - 9-Month Fixed Term Contract (January 2026 start)
(Option to work 36 hours over 4 days)

Salary: £23 per hour / approx. £43,000 per annum (Band 6 equivalent, pro rata)

Main duties of the job

What You'll Be Doing:

Chronic disease management: diabetes, asthma, hypertension
Immunisations and travel health
Cervical cytology
Wound care, leg ulcer dressings, compression and suture removal
Health promotion and lifestyle support
Working collaboratively within a supportive, fun multidisciplinary team

About You:

NMC Registered Nurse with recent primary care or transferable experience
Practice Nurse experience essential; system knowledge desirable
Excellent communication and clinical skills
Calm, organised, and proactive

Salary & Contract Details

£23 per hour
Approx. £43,000 per annum depending on hours worked
Band 6 range also available: £35,424.91 - £44,270.97 pro rata
9-month Fixed Term Contract, starting January 2026
