Overview

Our client is one of the world’s largest independent suppliers of aero-structures and systems within the aviation market.

At their facility near Glasgow, they are responsible for the design, engineering and manufacture of a range of products, including skins, spars, rib posts and joint plates, for customers including Boeing and Airbus.

They are looking to add a number of contract quality engineers on an initial 6 month basis.

We'd be interested in hearing from candidates with a strong aerospace quality background and specific experience in the following areas:

First Article compilation and Inspection activity to AS9102 standards
Pre-delivery inspections/shakedowns on assemblies
Delivery documentation
Conducting product audits
Experience in Airbus First Article packages (A350 preferably but not a must)
MRB (Material Review Board) activity to determine part/assembly dispositions on supplier related issues or internal investigations for assemblies
Non Conformance 1 processing from receipt to closure
Procedure reviews

NB This role is outside IR35
