We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate Trainee Accountant to join our clients dynamic accounting and auditing team. This role is part of a structured SAICA Training Programme designed to provide professional work experience in auditing accounting and taxation while you complete your degree and progress towards becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).

• Currently studying towards a BCom Accounting / BAcc / equivalent SAICA-accredited degree (2nd / 3rd year undergraduate).
• Strong academic record (must meet SAICA requirements).
• Must be able to speak Afrikaans fluently
• Own transport & valid drivers licence
• Computer literate (MS Office; Case Ware experience advantageous).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity professionalism and eagerness to learn.

• Assist with audit engagements under supervision including planning fieldwork and reporting.
• Perform reconciliations testing and analysis of financial records.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Process client transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Exposure to tax (individuals companies and VAT) and compliance tasks.
• Ensure adherence to SAICA regulations firm policies and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing learning development sessions and assessments as required by SAICA.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity professionalism and eagerness to learn.
