About the Role We're hiring a full-time Lead APC Engineer to join our Pretoria-based team.

This is a high-impact role for a seasoned engineer with 7–10 years of experience, including 3–5 years in APC.

You'll lead the design, deployment, and optimization of cutting-edge control solutions across mining and process environments.

Your daily focus will include:

• Designing and implementing APC strategies (MPC, fuzzy logic, inferential control, constraint handling)
• Conducting feasibility studies and business case assessments
• Developing process models and tuning controllers
• Troubleshooting and optimizing deployed APC systems
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and sustained performance

• Proven experience in APC, process monitoring, and control loop performance
• Strong coding and analytics skills (Python, SQL, Power BI, Matlab / R)
• Expertise in process modeling, system identification, and optimization
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, Process, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
• Mining or heavy industry experience is a strong advantage
