Position InfoPOSITION INFO : The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of building services projects, working closely with other disciplines to develop innovative, compliant, and cost-effective mechanical systems. A strong technical foundation, combined with the ability to manage responsibilities across multiple project stages, is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems
- Conduct site visits and client needs analyses
- Prepare technical reports on maintenance, repairs, and existing system assessments
- Perform heat load calculations and system concept proposals
- Specify mechanical systems in accordance with project requirements
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards
- Liaise with OEMs and suppliers for sourcing and system integration
- Develop ducting layouts and equipment selections
- Support Fire Protection and Detection system designs
- Assist in compiling Rational Fire Design documentation
- Contribute to wet services designs, including water system hydraulic calculations
- Review and coordinate engineering drawings with drafting teams
- Draft engineering reports throughout project phases
- Compile tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, and budget estimates
- Conduct peer reviews in line with ISO 9001 quality standards
- Participate in construction monitoring and on-site supervision
- Oversee elements of design and project delivery within budget and timelines
- Communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and with clients
- Maintain documentation as per internal quality management protocols
- Attend project meetings and conduct site inspections
- Handle administrative tasks related to project and team functions
- Work independently on mechanical design aspects across various projects
- 3 to 5 years in mechanical engineering within a consulting or construction environment
- BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
- Valid Code B driver’s license
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and / or Revit
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
