CAD Operator

Our client a well-established international engineering integration and manufacturing company,has an opportunity for a CAD Operator with at least 3 - 5+ years Draughting experience in Engineering Environment to join their engineering team based in Pretoria.

• Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4.
• Certification in CAD or draughting.
• 3-5 years Draughting experience in engineering environment.
• Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and their components.
• Knowledge of drawing procedures and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Draft engineering designs using the appropriate software relevant to the required project specification.
• Ensure timeous updated / revised engineering designs in line with customer specifications.
• Ensure design according to set specifications and standards to keep within required quality specifications.
• Compile, update and maintain the design documentation and design packs in line with the company process.
• Conduct accuracy checks to ensure drawings meet specifications and design criteria.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and related documents.
