Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Receptionist VA to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will work remotely, providing support to our clients in Clinical Research. This role requires someone organized, personable, and comfortable interacting with patients and clients, with a strong understanding of medical environments and clinical research operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer phone calls and handle patient inquiries efficiently.

Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinics calendar.

Conduct reminder calls to patients about their upcoming appointments.

Collect and record patient demographic information accurately.

Assist in discussing clinical trials with patients (training provided).

Act as a liaison between the clinic and patients, ensuring smooth communication.

Provide general sales support, promoting clinical trials to potential participants.

Skills & Requirements:

Proficiency in medical terminology.

Experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role.

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Clinical Conductor.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage patient schedules.

Knowledge of clinical trials (or willingness to learn).

Experience using VOIP systems like Podium is a plus.
