Patrol sensitive areas, monitor for suspicious activity, and secure facilities as neededAssist visitors with navigation and provide first aid when requiredMonitor and support patient safety, including missing/wandering patientsRespond to emergencies (Code White, fire alarms, missing persons, aggression, bomb threats)Issue keys, passes, and manage equipment inventoryDe-escalate and, when necessary, physically intervene in high-stress situationsConduct audits of panic alarms, CCTV systems, and fire extinguishersAssist with patient watch, safe walk/drive programs, and enforce parking regulationsWrite detailed incident reports while maintaining strict patient confidentialitySupport law enforcement during serious or escalating incidentsQualifications for Hospital Security Guard
Be authorized to work in CanadaSaskatchean Security Guard License Certificate (we can help you get this)Provide a clean criminal background checkFirst aid certification as assetAbility to stand and walk entire shiftAbility to work independentlyStrong communication and conflict resolution skillsAbility to stay calm under pressure and respond to emergenciesDemonstrated professionalism with strong interpersonal skills; able to build positive relationships and maintain a respectful presence on siteComfortable using technology in the workplace; experience with CCTV systems is an assetPrevious experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is considered an assetApply today to be part of a team that puts safety and care first!
