Position Summary

IDL is seeking a Labourer/OFA Level 3 (Advanced First Aid) attendant for projects in Prince George and other Project locations. The Labourer is part of an effective construction team that successfully completes projects according to approved plans, specifications, and applicable codes while maintaining high quality and a safe workplace. The successful candidate will represent IDL's safety culture and provide response to crews in the event of an injury, illness, or emergency situation.

Responsibilities

Administer first aid services to all personnel on the worksite as necessary

Performs tasks on the labour crew to support operations in the execution of work and assisting various trades

Provide general construction labour or administrative support, depending on skillset

May perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

Occupational First Aid Level Three (3) (Advanced First Aid) is required

Experience working in a construction environment

Knowledge and practical experience in incident investigation

Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC and applicable regulation

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including good oral and written English and the ability to maintain confidentiality
