Summary

The Sr. Exploration Geologist (Rackla) position is an opportunity to take on a key leadership role within the Exploration team tasked with advancing high-quality gold, silver, and base metals targets across the highly prospective Rackla land package in central Yukon. About

Us

The Keno Hill mine, located within the Keno Hill Silver District in Canada’s Yukon Territory, is one of the highest-grade silver districts in the world, situated 350 kilometres north of Whitehorse, and lies within the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na‑Cho Nyak Dun. It comprises 242 square kilometres (km²) with numerous mineral deposits and more than 35 historical past‑producing mine sites.

Keno Hill is expected to produce 2.7‑3.1 million ounces of silver in 2025 as the mine ramps up production. The Rackla property sits roughly 30 miles to the northeast of Hecla Keno Hill’s mine, comprising 8,771 claims covering over 650 sq miles (1,700 km²), and can only be accessed by air. The Rackla property represents a large, under explored land package with demonstrated gold, silver and base metal mineralization.

The mine is owned and operated by Hecla Mining Company, headquartered in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Established in 1891, Hecla has a rich history as a distinguished and respected precious metals producer, and has won numerous safety and environmental awards. Keno Hill is seeking new team members committed to professional growth and success.
