LIFE SKILLS WORKER, SPECIALIZED MENTAL HEALTH SUBSTANCE USE OUTREACH/SUBSTANCE USE STABILIZATION

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Specialized Services department. The Life Skills Worker (LSW) – Specialized Substance Use Stabilization/MHSU Outreach will provide outreach community‑based support services, assisting in mental health and substance use treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outreach community‑based support services, assisting in mental health and substance use treatment.
  • Deliver life skills training, coaching, advocacy, and support to individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, behavioural, and developmental problems and to their caregivers/families.
  • Motivate, assist, and guide individuals with activities of daily living; report progress and condition, including reactions to medications.
