Journeyperson Carpenter

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Carpenter will be responsible for working safely in all areas on the mill site. They will be a key player in company-wide continuous improvement efforts.

• Scaffolding
• Building repairs and maintenance
• Building and repairing cabinets
• Office renovations
• Forming and concrete work
• Equipment base grouting

• Masonry and Scaffolding experience
• Heavy industry experience
• Commitment to working safely and creating a safe work place
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• The hourly pay rate for this position will follow the collective agreement between Unifor 1115 and Cariboo Pulp & Paper Company, which is currently $48.66/hour.

Located in Quesnel, BC, Cariboo Pulp and Paper is a fore running producer of NBSK pulp as well as clean, green energy.
