We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a passion for nursing and a desire to extend your nursing knowledge. This training opportunity is based in the Operating Room department n Hospital.

Reporting to the Head Nurse, the staff nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the framework of quality management and the hospital's mission. The program includes the Northern Health Regional Operating Room Education (RORE) utilizing AORN’s Periop 101 online curriculum, combined with skills labs and clinical preceptorships to prepare nurses for perioperative care.

There are 2 training positions available for 2025/2026, with support for tuition, textbooks, and travel expenses. The program requires a 4-6 month commitment, including online and in-person learning, with additional study time outside scheduled hours. Successful completion is required before working in the department, with an 18-month return of service obligation.
