Assistant Department Manager, Pharmacy

London Drugs, a leading Canadian retail chain, invites applications for the Assistant Department Manager, Pharmacy. This developmental position prepares you for Pharmacy Manager responsibilities.

Prince George, British Columbia, Canada

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the pharmacy meets all provincial regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Foster professionalism, good business practices, and a strong work ethic.
  • Operate the pharmacy efficiently with focus on staff productivity, training, team building, and payroll.
  • Plan resources addressing manpower needs, staff performance standards, training, and development.
  • Communicate and execute all company directives, policies, procedures, programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain inventory control and processes.
  • Build the pharmacy business, increasing sales and profit.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with 2–3 years of pharmacy experience.
  • Strong supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High motivation and resourcefulness.
  • Strong organizational skills and diligence.
  • Business sense.
