Position Overview:
We are seeking for Container Terminal Security Officers who will work alongside other port-related and logistics services. This position requires strong situational awareness, adherence to strict protocols, and a commitment to confidentiality and safety.
Relocation Bonus! We are offering a $2,500 relocation bonus to successful candidates hired for this role before March 31, 2026.
Bonus is subject to terms, including a one-year minimum commitment to full-time work in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Anticipating and addressing inquiries, hazards, obstacles, and traffic concernsStatic and mobile patrolling the facility regularlyEnsuring authorized entry to secure areas onlyWriting detailed incident reportsComplying with the Marine Transportation Security Regulations.Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to maintain site integrity and securityMonitor CCTV, access control systems, and alarm panelsEnforce site regulations and ensure compliance with security proceduresRespond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely and professional mannerComplete accurate and detailed incident and activity reportsProvide excellent customer service and maintain a professional presence at all timesCollaborate effectively with law enforcement and emergency services as requiredQualifications:
Please note that applicants seeking employment at the terminal must be able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Security Clearance as identified by the Marine Transportation Security Clearance Program.Valid BC Security LicenseBasic First Aid or be willing to obtain itMust be legally authorized to work in CanadaSecurity officers are subject to thorough background checks and security clearances, in addition to carrying a valid Security License.Skills and Abilities:
