We are looking for an experienced Techno-Functional Business Analyst to join our team on a full-time W-2 basis and support one of our enterprise clients.

- Compensation: $45/hour (no benefits)
- Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and candidates with valid H-4 EAD work authorization ONLY.
As a Techno-Functional Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, create application screen mockups and wireframes, and use SQL to analyze and validate data.
The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on SQL expertise and the ability to visualize intuitive, user-friendly application screens.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create UI/UX wireframes, screen mockups, and workflow diagrams using Figma, Balsamiq, Axure, or similar tools.
- Write and execute SQL queries involving joins, aggregations, and data validation.
- Collaborate with development, QA, product, and business teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.
- Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and business process mapping.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation and defect tracking.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain requirements and backlogs.
- Prepare clear documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and process flows.
- Proven experience as a Techno-Functional Business Analyst in an enterprise environment.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data validation.
- Hands-on experience designing UI screens, wireframes, or prototypes using Figma, Balsamiq, Axure, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, or similar project management tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a techno-functional role.
- Experience with enterprise applications, cloud-based solutions, data warehousing, BI tools, or ERP/CRM platforms.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
