Information Developer (Technical Writer)

Role Overview We are looking for detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and motivated Technical Writers to join our dynamic Product Documentation team
This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about writing, curious about emerging technologies, and eager to grow in a collaborative environment
The selected candidate will handle creating clear, concise, and user-centric documentation that enhances product understanding and adoption
They will work closely with engineering, product management, and senior writers to deliver high-quality content aligned with our documentation standards
Key Responsibilities:
Create and support user manuals, API documentation, installation/configurationguides, FAQs, and online help systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical insights and understand product workflows
Edit &refine existing documentation for clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy
Use DITA, single sourcing, and content reusability principles
Follow documentation standards and style guides such as the MS Style Guide
Participate in peer reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback
Gain exposure to bug tracking and task management tools (such as JIRA, Bugzilla)
Contribute to process improvements and content strategy initiatives
What you should have:
Required Qualifications:
3–8 years of experience in technical writing or related roles
Exposure to telecommunications or software development is a plus
Core Competencies:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on technical clarity
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Skills & Tools:
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Sprint, and Dev Ops environments
Experience with structured authoring and DITA principles
Proficient in authoring tools such as oXygen XML, Mad Cap Flare, Frame Maker, and Arbor Text
Knowledge of markup languages (Markdown, Ascii Doc), CMS platforms (Confluence,Notion),
& version control systems (Git, Git Hub)
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and scripting (Python, JavaScript)
Awareness of UX writing, accessibility, and content design
Experience with diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io)
Interest in emerging technologies like AI, ML, IoT, Cloud, and RAN
Working knowledge of AI tools and LLM
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Adaptability and eagerness to learn
Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and mentorship
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, technical writing, mass communications, or a related field.
