We are looking for a Loan IQ Technical Business Analyst with strong functional knowledge of Loan IQ and solid technical expertise on reading the APIs and SQL to support implementation, customization, integration, and enhancement initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, and testing teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams for Loan IQ implementations and enhancements.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements related to Loan IQ modules (Syndicated Loans, Bilateral Loans, Agency, Servicing, Fees, Interest, etc.).
- Prepare functional specifications, technical design documents, data mapping, and interface specifications.
- Support Loan IQ configuration, workflows, notices, accounting rules, and reporting requirements.
- Work on system integrations between Loan IQ and upstream/downstream systems (GL, payment systems, data warehouses, regulatory reporting).
- Support data migration, reconciliation, and conversion activities.
- Collaborate with developers on customization, APIs, batch jobs, and interfaces.
- Assist QA teams by preparing test scenarios, test cases, and UAT support.
- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal controls.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience as a Business Analyst on Loan IQ.
- In-depth knowledge of Loan IQ data model, tables, events, and accounting entries.
- Experience with SQL queries, data analysis, and reconciliation.
- Good understanding of loan lifecycle, syndication, servicing, interest, fees, and payments.
- Experience working on interfaces (Inbound/Outbound), APIs, and batch processing.
- Familiarity with Agile / SDLC methodologies.
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
