Salesforce Functional Consultant

We are seeking a Salesforce TPM & Trade Enablement Lead with hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and configuring Sellables (products, packs, and promotional units) within Salesforce. The role demands strong stakeholder management, deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities, and the ability to work closely with technical teams to deliver high-quality implementations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
a. Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, and desired outcomes.
b. Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align TPM processes with business objectives.
c. Translate business needs into clear, structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
d. Create end-to-end process maps, data models, and gap analysis.

2. Solution Design & Functional Ownership
a. Design scalable and best-practice Salesforce solutions aligned to business objectives.
b. Lead end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Trade Promotion Management (TPM) to support trade planning, budgeting, execution, and settlement.
c. Define integration architecture leveraging APIs, middleware, and event-based patterns to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
d. Integrate Salesforce TPM with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., ERP, DMS, analytics platforms) for accurate data flow.
e. Define data migration and data quality requirements.

3. Implementation Coordination
a. Work closely with Salesforce developers, integration teams, and TPM teams to drive timely and high-quality delivery.
b. Identify risks, dependencies, and integration bottlenecks, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
c. Support UAT, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hyper care for TPM implementations.

4. Stakeholder & Project Management
a. Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical teams.
b. Manage client expectations, drive decisions, and ensure solutions sign-offs.
c. Support project planning, risk identification, and dependency management.

5. Change Management & Training
a. Prepare training materials and deliver end-user training sessions.
b. Support change management activities and ensure user adoption.
c. Provide post go-live hyper care and continuous improvement recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience
Functional Expertise

· 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Functional consultant/Business Analyst.

· Proven experience implementing Salesforce TPM in an FMCG or consumer goods environment.

· Strong hands-on experience configuring Sellables (products, packs, promotional SKUs) in Salesforce.

· Ability to translate trade marketing and sales requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions

· Experience in writing user stories, process flows, BRDs/FRDs, and mapping business processes.
Technical Appreciation

· Hands-on Salesforce configuration skills (Flows, Permissions, Objects, Validation Rules).

· Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and data migration approaches.

· Ability to collaborate with technical teams (developers, architects).

Tools

· JIRA / Azure Dev Ops for user story management.

· Miro / Visio / Lucid chart for process modelling.

· Excel / Power point for documentation and reporting.

Certifications (Preferred)

· Salesforce Administrator

· Salesforce Business Analyst

· Salesforce Consumer Goods cloud
