We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in data modeling, data engineering, cloud data platforms, and end‑to‑end data architecture design . You will lead the design of scalable data ecosystems, modernize legacy platforms, and define enterprise data standards. Experience in Healthcare (preferred) , BFSI, or Retail domains will be an advantage.
What You’ll Do
Design scalable data architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, and modern lakehouse platforms.
Build enterprise data models, canonical models, and metadata strategies to support analytics and operational workloads.
Implement cloud‑based data platforms using Azure, AWS, or GCP (Azure preferred).
Develop data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks using ETL/ELT tools.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Application teams to ensure alignment with data strategy.
Ensure data governance, quality, security, lineage, and compliance across all layers of the data ecosystem.
Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Partner with clients to define data roadmaps, modernization strategies, and support RFP/RFI solutioning.
What You Bring
12+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data architecture, or enterprise data strategy roles.
Strong expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical), dimensional modeling (Kimball/Inmon) , and data vault (nice to have).
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms :
Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Big Query.
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python , and ETL/ELT frameworks.
Experience with structured and unstructured data , real-time streaming, and batch processing.
Familiarity with data governance, MDM, metadata management, lineage , and catalog tools.
Experience deploying pipelines using ADF, DBX, Airflow, Glue, NiFi or similar tools.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
Domain experience in Healthcare is highly preferred; BFSI/Retail beneficial.
Experience supporting RFPs, solution proposals, and data strategy presentations .
