About Position:

This role focuses on driving the analytics strategy for a developer platform by defining KPIs, enabling data-driven decision-making, and ensuring reliable telemetry across platform components. The Technical Product Manager will lead analytics governance, partner with engineering teams to build scalable data pipelines, and deliver insights through dashboards using tools like Power BI, Open Search, and Splunk.

What You'll Do:

Analytics Strategy & Governance
Define and maintain the analytics roadmap for the developer platform.
Establish KPIs for platform adoption, utilization, and performance.
Develop chargeback and cost allocation models for platform services.
Data Collection & Integration
Partner with engineering teams to instrument platform components for telemetry.
Ensure data pipelines are reliable and scalable for metrics ingestion.
Reporting & Visualization
Design and deliver dashboards and reports for stakeholders using Power BI, Open Search, and Splunk.
Provide actionable insights to leadership and product teams based on usage trends and cost analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Expertise You'll Bring:

Experience:

5+ years in technical product management or related role.
Domain Knowledge:
Strong understanding of developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD ecosystems.
Analytics Tools:
Hands-on experience with Open Search, Splunk, and Power BI.
Data

Skills:

Familiarity with data modeling, query languages (SQL), and visualization best practices.
Communication:
Excellent ability to translate technical data into business insights for diverse stakeholders.
